“The hotel is almost unnoticeable it's so small, it's next to a mariscos spot and a racers rental place. It is very inexpensive for the area. You're 2 blocks from the beach and surrounded by restaurants, stores, and clubs.”
“This is a decent economy hotel. Make sure you know where it is located in the Zona Dorada, or your Pulmonia driver or taxista will spend 40 minutes looking for it. Spoke landmarks: opposite side of the street from Egyptian Massage, and down the street from the Panama Restaurant. Make sure that you have the local Mazatlan phone #, and not the on in Mexico City. Five floors high, but the entrance is very inconspicuous. Tiled corkscrew stairwell. No elevator. Be careful. Quiet. Nice staff. They are helpful. Hot water is plentiful. Decent cable. Internet is great in the lobby, but variable elsewhere in the building. We liked the place. You will, too--if you're flexible...”
